Adoption

We only adopt to trusted people.

We send many of our rescues abroad.

Why?

When we first started, we found some people gave them back to us, sometimes after a day, sometimes after a year. This not only takes up space and prevents us helping more cats, but the cats also suffer when returned.

Cats like routine and stability. When their home is changed, it causes them stress and they can become depressed when returned.

We also had cases where people dumped our cats back in the street. Some of them we never found again.

Our aim is to find people who will build lasting, loving relationships with our rescues.

We also keep in touch with our adopters to see how our rescues are doing.

If you want a toy, our rescues are not for you. We are focussed on the animals' needs.

If you think you can give a loving, compassionate, permanent home to one of our cats, please contact us and fill out our adoption form (link below). If you pass the adoption application, we will then ask you do the ASPCA personality test to match you with a cat that is a suitable match for you.

Animals are our priority. We are an animal-centred charity.

Currently, we focus on the animals that cannot survive in the streets alone.

We only adopt out to homes where we know our rescues will be safe.

We are on several social media platforms.

We don't take animals from people who do not want them.

We do not adopt out to anyone who asks.

We do not focus on human needs.

We are an animal-centred charity.

We are always looking for volunteers who can be actively involved.

We also need fosters who can care for cats and dogs. Sometimes the animals have special needs.
